Three steps to a hidden 3D image
Choose a subject
Type a short word or pick one of the preset shapes. This becomes the invisible depth map — the thing that will float out of the pattern.
Pick pattern & depth
Select one of six repeating textures and set how strongly the subject should pop. The generator renders a true single-image stereogram on canvas.
Relax your eyes
Look through the screen, not at it. When two neighbouring pattern columns fuse, the hidden shape snaps into 3D. Then download your PNG.

Why can't I see the hidden image?
Most first-timers focus on the screen instead of behind it. Sit at arm's length, relax your gaze as if looking at something a metre past the display, and wait for two repeats of the pattern to drift together. Our viewing guide walks through it with practice exercises.
Is my text or image uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole generator runs in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your text, the depth map, and the finished stereogram never leave your device. See our privacy policy for details.
Can I use the images I make?
Yes — stereograms you generate here are yours to keep and share for personal and non-commercial use, such as puzzles, greeting cards, classroom demos, or social posts. More usage questions are answered in the full FAQ.
